| Holiday Affair on the Square is a hometown celebration of the beginning of the holiday season. With free horse drawn carriage rides through the district & a holiday parade, this is an event for all ages & is sure to get you in the spirit. The event offers Middletown’s Arts & Cultural organizations a chance to preview their holiday show on the stage at Governor’s Square Park. It is also the opening reception for the artists of the GOT ART! exhibit, with the winners of the show announced that day. The Art Central Foundation has, for the past four years, decorated the City’s Holiday tree as well as the Governor’s Square Park where the event is held and this is Middletown's official Tree Lighting Ceremony. | ||
